Royal Bank Archives, Edinburgh: Heras fencing hire and permanent fencing.
The job
We hired out Heras fencing and installed permanent fencing at the Royal Bank archives in Edinburgh.
About the area
The site is in Edinburgh, which is a council area of its own, and roughly 8 miles by road from our yard at Bilston Glen, Loanhead. Loanhead is a Midlothian town in the commuter belt just south of the city.
Nearby work
Close by, we’ve also worked at the Gyle Shopping Centre, RBS Gogarburn, Asda Chesser and on the Dalry cobble relaying.
What this kind of job involves
Fencing at a records or secure site does two different jobs. Temporary Heras panels mark and protect a working area quickly, while permanent fencing is a long-term boundary that has to be set on proper post foundations at the right line and height. Gate openings, delivery access and any underground services all need settling before posts go in.
