The job
Various civil surfacing works within the site boundary at B&Q Macclesfield. On a retail site the work is agreed with the store first, so customers, deliveries and staff can keep moving while it goes on. We split the area into sections and finish each one, with markings and ironwork back to the finished level, before the next is opened up. Handing a section back properly finished is better than leaving loose ends on a site that’s trading around the work.

Macclesfield is a market town in Cheshire East, on the River Bollin and the edge of the Cheshire Plain, with Macclesfield Forest to its east. The town is 16 miles south of Manchester and 38 miles east of Chester. By road the site is about 224 miles from our yard at Bilston Glen, Loanhead.
