Oban is a resort town and seaport in Argyll and Bute, on the Firth of Lorn, with a bay protected by the island of Kerrera. About 8,000 people live there, rising to over 24,000 in the tourist season. By road the site is about 127 miles from our yard at Bilston Glen, Loanhead.
