The job
Ducting installation at Starbucks Inverness. Ducting goes in before the surface is finished, so power and communications have a route without a trench being cut through new surfacing later. Around that, the ground is excavated, built back in compacted layers and reinstated to match what was there. On a customer-facing site we agree the working area with the store first, and keep a safe route open for people walking to the door.
About the area
Inverness is a city in the Scottish Highlands, long regarded as the de facto capital of the Highlands and the administrative centre for The Highland Council. By road the site is about 165 miles from our yard at Bilston Glen, Loanhead.
