The job

We resurfaced and line marked sections of the car park at Asda Straiton. A cold planer took out the old surface between the parking bays, the new asphalt was laid with a tipper feeding the paver, and a roller followed the fresh mat across the car park. The bays, the service road and all the markings were put back once the surfacing was down.

Working on site

The works were coned off in a strip while traffic carried on running in the rest of the car park. Working in a coned strip meant the store car park stayed in use around the job, with the plant and crew confined to the resurfaced section.
