Hapas joint repairs across West Lothian, carried out for West Lothian Council.

The job

We carried out Hapas joint repairs for West Lothian Council to extend the life of the existing road surface. The joint repairs followed our surfacing squad, who had laid the new surface course and installed the new road markings. The sealed joints run along the road edge, curve with the road and run down the middle of a residential street, passing through the lane arrows on the coned carriageway.

Working on site

The repairs covered roads of very different types across West Lothian, from rural roads to residential streets, and each working length was coned off while the joint was repaired. A highway maintenance lorry and an operative were on the road once the repair was finished.
