Cameron Toll Shopping Centre, Edinburgh: retail resurfacing worked as a night shift.
The job
We resurfaced part of the car park at Cameron Toll Shopping Centre, covering planing, surfacing and line marking. The surface was planed out, then the paver laid fresh asphalt and a roller compacted it, with the new surface laid up to the block paved footway and island.
Working on site
The job was worked as a night shift to reduce disruption. The working area was lit by floodlights and closed off with cones and barriers, and the cones stayed in place around the fresh asphalt at the block paved island. The paver laid fresh asphalt up to the island while the roller worked the planed area.
