Asda Stenhousemuir, Falkirk: car park refresh.
The job
Car park refresh at Asda Stenhousemuir. A supermarket car park is a surfacing job with a trading store sitting on top of it, so the programme is usually harder than the surfacing. Our approach is to agree the phasing with the store, then take the car park a section at a time: each one protected, finished and reopened before the next closes. Delivery windows and peak trading times decide the order, so there’s always parking and a clear route to the entrance.
About the area
Stenhousemuir is a town in the Falkirk council area, two miles north-north-west of Falkirk and directly next to Larbert. The site is about 35 miles by road from our yard at Bilston Glen, Loanhead.
