The job

We replaced 200m of drainage channel in various areas of the car park at Asda Blantyre, over three phases. Each run meant opening a trench, laying the new slot drain and surfacing over it, with line marking following once the channel was in. The new channel runs between the parking bays, so the markings were relaid around it once the surfacing was down.

Working on site

Splitting the work into three phases let us deal with the car park one area at a time. Each working area was fenced off and coned off, with the bays closed around the open trench, and the surfacing and marking followed each channel as it was finished.
